Our Chancellor This website provides a
detailed view of our university's compliance with the current SACSCOC
Standards. The Chancellor and his Cabinet led the reaffirmation efforts. Recognizing that SACSCOC
reaffirmation is a university-wide effort requiring the active participation
of a large group of university stakeholders, we engaged an interdisciplinary
team of administrators, faculty, staff, and students to work together.
In addition, our Board of Trustees supported the efforts by sharing its
expertise and its resources. Our university takes great
pride in keeping educational quality at the forefront of all we do, and
maintaining accreditation with SACSCOC is an important way in which we assure
our community-local, state and national-of the quality of our educational
programs and support systems. We welcome the opportunity
to share our university with you, and we look forward to your critique and
