14.1   PUBLICATION OF ACCREDITATION STATUS

The institution (a) accurately represents its accreditation status and publishes the name, address, and telephone number of SACSCOC in accordance with SACSCOC’s requirements and federal policy; and (b) ensures all its branch campuses include the name of that institution and make it clear that their accreditation depends on the continued accreditation of the parent campus.

(a) Publication of Current Accreditation Status

North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University accurately represents its accreditation status and publishes the name, address, and telephone number of SACSCOC in accordance with SACSCOC’s requirements and federal policy.

N.C. A&T represents its accreditation status and publishes contact information for SACSCOC in several places, including its website, the Undergraduate Bulletin, the Graduate Catalog and the Student Handbook. The following wording is used in the Undergraduate Bulletin, p. 6, Graduate Catalog, p. 18, and Student Handbook, p. 7:

North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools to award baccalaureate, masters, and doctorate degrees.
