NARRATIVE
The Board of Trustees at N.C. A&T regularly assesses its responsibilities and expectations, but started doing a formal self-assessment survey, administered to its members, in the Fall 2018. This is a more organized evaluation of the Board’s satisfaction with all aspects of its performance in fulfilling its governance responsibilities. The UNC Policy Manual, Chapter 200.4.B requires that the Board of Trustees of each constituent institution conduct a self-evaluation every four years. The findings of the 2018 self-evaluation of the Board of Trustees is presented in the minutes of September 2018, on pg. 2, under the heading “Governance.”
